Getting a Visa for Japan

For international attendees of the iSpaRo 2025 conference in Sendai, understanding the visa requirements for entry into Japan is crucial. Japan offers entry facilities for citizens of numerous countries, as well as straightforward procedures for those who need to apply for a visa.

Countries Requiring a Visa

Citizens who wish to visit, transit through or work in Japan must, before their departure:

  2. If you are required to have a visa, you must have a valid travel document with a visa issued by a consular authority from one of the countries in the Schengen area.

Access
