Presentation Instructions

The time, date, and room of your presentation is available on the detailed program 

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Sendai. In the meantime, we ask you to pay close attention to the instructions detailed below:

Presentation Time: The time allocated for each presentation is 10 min, followed by 2 to 5 min of Q&A (depending on the number of papers presented on each session). Please manage your time accordingly to allow for audience questions.

Equipment: The room will be equipped with a fixed microphone, a screen, and a projector with an HDMI connector located at the podium. You should plug in your own computer to share your presentation.  If your device does not have a standard HDMI port, please bring the appropriate HDMI adapter with you.

Setup: We kindly ask of all presenters to be in the room assigned to their presentation at least 10 min before the start of the session. On arrival, please make yourself known to either the chair of the session or one of our volunteers present in the room. They will be able to inform you of any last-minute changes. You can also use this time to test your laptop and make sure that your presentation runs smoothly on the projector.

Please show consideration for your fellow presenters by keeping to your allocated time slot. The chair will inform you if you exceed this time and may interrupt any presentations that overrun.​
